At Istituto Marangoni Mumbai’s 2025 showcase, “vikAsah” unfolded like the city it honoured—fashion as narrative, structure as metaphor, and students as storytellers of what’s next. A golden bamboo grid rose across the runway scaffolding, raw and deliberate, echoing Mumbai’s rhythm and the theme of growth woven into each collection. Manuela Catania’s Realm of Senses brought a quieter movement—light, suspended forms shaped by fabric, memory, and the tension between stillness and change.

Istituto Marangoni Mumbai hosted their 2024 fashion show presentation by 2nd-year students. Aptly named for the spirit of unity and harmony, the show – AIKYAM – celebrates the fusion of cultures, creativity, and innovation, showcasing the designers’ unique interpretations of fashion for the modern world.

The Istituto Marangoni Mumbai end of year Student Showcase is an event that celebrates the institutes top talent, showcasing their creations in uniquely themed fashion shows.

#IMOmniverse 2022, was a melange of the Real World and the Metaverse. The fashion show featured the immense creativity, skill, technique and design thinking of the institutes second year students.

The 2019 “No Boundaries” showing was held at Famous Studios, and attended by Soha Ali Khan, among other influencers and opinion makers from the fashion fraternity. Students from London, Shanghai, Milan, Paris, and Florence, who had been awarded the Best Cross School Winners, were also flown in for the occasion, bringing a global flavor to the evening.
